Business Manager Job At Mastercard, Lagos Nigeria

World Group Flow focuses on the conduct of global transaction volume and profitable revenue growth portfolios MasterCard debit . The group actively collaborates with internal teams through MasterCard and external parties , including customers ( issuers ) , merchants, and new strategic partners to build comprehensive solutions and innovative products focused on capturing volume of spending current and future map .

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the go- to-market strategy and implement tactics in the roadmap . The person will be responsible for program management life cycle of products and support business development managers with presentations and applications for development of customized products . The person will work closely with their counterparts in products and sales through the sub- Sahara Africa Division to ensure alignment with customer-focused strategy.

THE MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategies and roadmaps for delivery
• Develop Go- To-Market
• Monitor the landscape of competitive products and industry trends , understand their implications for MasterCard and suggest measures to be taken if necessary
• use local search to develop daily communication strategies with consumers to encourage the successful acquisition, activation campaigns use
• Develop best running practice guides boarding for management staff of the bank products, including training kits branch , call center guides , sample welcome letter , month- books communications equipment
• Development of communication schedules and channel plans for use by issuers
• Develop promotions below-the -line , targeting the consumer / owner
• Develop a management approach ” life cycle ” to constantly improve / modify / improve products and services in line with market needs / issuer / sector to ensure maximum profitability through the MasterCard use and retention
• Collaborate with customers and direction of Customer Marketing to support the launch of programs and benefits within clusters and working with the marketing team in the development of any security required by the groups
• Create and maintain a library of best practices and case studies on the development of products to share with sales of products, account teams and customers
• Develop presentations to update and sell issuers proactively opportunities for products / innovations , market trends, and developments in product innovation MC
• Support sales and account teams in creating value propositions that rely on the key characteristics of existing and / or new product platforms MC
• Support sales teams with applications custom product development
• Must demonstrate influencing skills and strong negotiation
• Demonstrate proven ability to develop and implement successful , measurable business plans
• Industry knowledge and networks , especially in market relations / business development
• Have an entrepreneurial approach and vision
• Analytical thinking

• Customer orientation with a thorough understanding of customer profitability drivers and drivers of consumer use
• communication skills in circulation in a written, verbal and presentation perspective
• Demonstrate an interdisciplinary knowledge , namely marketing, operations , acquisition and emerging technologies.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5-8 years experience in product management of critical flow
• Bachelor degree or equivalent required . MBA preferred

REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in strategic and operational planning
• Understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends
• Ability to oversee multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
• Knowledge of products and services MasterCard debit
• Proven experience to work in a cross-cutting role
• marketing experience with a mixture of B -2-B and B -2-C Direct Marketing
• consultative sales experience with good negotiation skills
• Team spirit and achievement oriented
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Communication / exceptional presentation skills
• Strong skills in MS PowerPoint , Word and Excel , presentation and writing skills bridge proposal
